What Guests are Saying

The experience with Ibanga Expeditions was beyond incredible. Every moment was filled with awe and learning. The guide was knowledgeable, and the landscapes were breathtaking. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Africa authentically.

Tina H.

I used Able to help with transport on a recent work trip. He was punctual and surprised me with some site seeing (Equator Cafe) which I was not expecting.
Safe and dependable. I would highly recommend him.

Paul S.

We did a 6 day tour including Gorilla's in Bwini National Park, Safari in Queen Elisabeth National Park, Chimpanzees in Kibale National Park, and rafting on the river Nile in Jinja.

Very nice combination of activities in this tour. Able has a lot to tell and is a real ambassador of Uganda. He is really caring for the joy of his guests.

The African Wild Awaits

Frequently Asked Questions:

What does Ibanga mean?

Great question! Ibanga means mystery. We are so excited to help you discover the mysteries of the African wild that we named our business after it.

What is the recommended length of a safari?

The recommended length of a safari in Uganda varies depending on your interests, budget, and travel style. Here are some general guidelines to help you plan your trip:

Short Safaris (3-4 days): If you're short on time, consider a brief safari to destinations like Murchison Falls National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Kibale National Park, or Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This duration is ideal for a quick glimpse into Uganda's wildlife.

Medium Safaris (5-7 days): This duration allows you to explore multiple destinations, such as Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and Kibale National Park. You'll have ample time to spot a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, do Gorilla trekking and Chimps tracking.

Long Safaris (8-15 days): If you have more time, consider an extended safari that covers multiple national parks and reserves. This duration provides the best opportunity to see a wide range of wildlife, including rare and endangered species.

Keep in mind that these are general guidelines, and the ideal safari length for you will depend on your specific interests and preferences.
