4-Day Gold Monkey, Gorilla, and Chimp Trek (Package A)
Embark on a thrilling 4-day adventure through Uganda and Rwanda, featuring golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga, gorilla tracking in Bwindi, a scenic boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi, a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu Forest, before concluding in Kigali. Experience Africa’s wildlife up close in some of the continent's most breathtaking landscapes.
Day 1: Transfer to Mgahimga National Park for golden monkey trekking and then to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Transfer to Mgahimga National Park for the golden monkey and then to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Our driver guide in Kigali will meet you at 6 am, and we will transfer you to the park's head offices in Mgahinga by 7 am. You will join other golden monkey trekkers and meet the ranger guide for a few minutes to talk about the activity and the park. By 8 am, you will transfer to the trailhead just outside the park. Enjoy great views of the
mountain scenery as you start your trek into the park.
The golden monkeys live near the edge of the park in the bamboo forests, where the ground is relatively flat and easy to trek. Find the monkeys and follow them as they feed. Notice how they skillfully pick the young bamboo leaves from the tip of the bamboo tree. They may
also move out of the park into the potato fields, which they love!
After an amazing 1 hour with them, you will return to the trailhead and drive to the hotel for lunch and rest.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer to L. Bunyonyi for a boat ride
Day 2:
You will have an early breakfast and then head to the park's headquarters to join other trekkers for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules at 7:45 am.
You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which can take between 1 to 8 hours. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. Once you find the gorillas, you will have 1 hour with them.
We then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. The drive will be through a beautiful part of the country often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa" because of its unique, cool weather. The lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in Uganda. It is the second-deepest lake in Africa (900 meters) and one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharzias and crocodile free. You will take a boat ride and hike to different viewpoints before returning for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 3:
Wake up early for breakfast and then set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Western Rift Valley volcanic formation. The descent reveals a stunning panorama of Lake George and Lake Edward amidst game-filled plains. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon for check-in. Have lunch and get some rest.
In the afternoon, you go on the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa, and many mammals may be seen drinking water. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant.
In the evening, you go for a game drive with a chance to see some of Africa's Big 5 (elephants, lions, water buffaloes, leopards, and hippos). Later, you return for dinner, a campfire, and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimp trek and travel to Kigali
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast. We head to the Kalinzu Forest Reserve for chimpanzee trekking with a tracker and guide for up to 4 hours. The forest reserve is home to 6 groups of chimps, comprising over 300 animals. Please bring suitably closed walking boots and long trousers! Afterward, we will transfer to Kigali Airport (with an en-route lunch) to ensure you catch your evening departure flight back home.

5-Day Gold Monkey, Gorilla, and Chimp Trek (Package B)
This 5-day tour which begins with golden monkey trekking tour in Mgahinga National Park is one of the top adventures in Uganda. This involves a relatively easy trek through the bamboo jungles in the lower zones of the Mgahinga. Afterward, head to Bwindi, which is home to gorillas. Enjoy some relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi before having the experience of a lifetime watching these majestic apes at close range as they feed, play, and relax. You then head to Queen Elizabeth NP for a great game-viewing experience.

Day 2: Transfer to Mgahimga National Park for Golden Monkeys then to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
At 6 am, we will transfer you to the park head offices in Mgahinga by 7 am. You join other golden monkey trekkers and meet the ranger guide for a few minutes to discuss the activity and the park. Have breakfast and go for gorilla tracking. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park houses almost half the world’s 650 mountain gorillas. Start climbing early with a tracker, even though seeing gorillas depends on their day’s movements. Gorillas are naturally reserved and non-violent animals. Watching them and possibly photographing these mild giants at a close range is a memorable and thrilling moment. Return to the hotel for lunch and relaxation. Here, you may visit the community and shop for works of art. You can return for overnight and dinner at Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort in the evening.

8-Day Safari: Exploring Uganda’s Mysteries (Package D)
Start from either Entebbe airport or your hotel. Transfer to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park. You will embark on a Bigodi wetlands excursion and then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will enjoy the Big 5 Game Safari and a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. From here, we journey to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla trekking experience. Day 2: Bigodi Wetlands Excursion, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and African Big 5 Game Drive

Have breakfast and move out for the Bigodi wetlands excursion*. The Bigodi wetland boasts extensive biodiversity, including several primate species like the black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and baboons. The Bigodi is also a paradise for bird watchers. Transfer Time: 2-3 hrs.
*Optional (extra cost per person): If interested, consider chimp tracking (Kibale Forest) instead of the Bigodi wetlands excursion. Please note that the chimp tracking permit must be secured in advance.
From the Bigodi (or Kibale Forest), embark quickly on a transfer (about 2 hrs) to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach Queen with some time to move out for game viewing. During the game drive/viewing, look out for wild animals like lions, the elusive leopard, herds of elephants, and buffaloes, to mention but a few.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Trip along the Kazinga Channel

Be up early and have your breakfast. Proceed for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains and be on the lookout for Cape buffalos, herds of elephants, lions, and leopards (though hard to spot), among others. Return to our accommodation for some rest time and lunch. After lunch, you will go for a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. During the journey, seeing wildlife, including giant hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, will fascinate you. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water's edge.
*After the boat trip, you can either return to the lodge to rest or proceed on a brief, late afternoon game drive (extra cost) and then return to the lodge.

After breakfast, we will move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing (from a ranger guide) on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these marvelous primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation and have a good rest* after a strenuous trek.

Terms and Conditions of Ibanga Expeditions, Ltd:
Definitions
- "Company" refers to Ibanga Expeditions Ltd., a tour company registered in Uganda.
- "Client" refers to the person booking a tour or service with the Company.
- "Tour" refers to any travel package, excursion, or service the Company offers.
Booking and Payment
- A booking is confirmed when the Client pays a deposit of 70% or the entire tour price.
- The Client must pay the tour price balance at the meeting point before departure.
- The Company reserves the right to cancel a booking if payment is not received on time.
Cancellations and Refunds
- If the Client cancels a booking 90 days or more before departure, the Company will refund 70% of the tour price minus the cost of the Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits.
- If the Client cancels a booking 89 days or less prior to departure, the Company will not provide a refund.
- The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the Client will receive a full refund.
Travel Documents and Visas
- The Client is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including passports and visas.
- The Company will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to the Client's failure to obtain necessary travel documents.
Travel Insurance
- The Client is strongly advised to purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, interruptions, and delays.
- The Company will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to the Client's failure to purchase travel insurance.
Liability and Responsibility
- The Company will not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred by the Client due to circumstances beyond the Company's control.
- The Client is responsible for their own safety and well-being during the tour.
Changes to the Tour
- The Company reserves the right to change the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances.
- The Client will be notified of any changes to the tour itinerary and can cancel or continue with the revised itinerary.
Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through the courts of law.
Acceptance
- By booking a tour with the Company, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
